No blood tests are required. The license is valid for one year from the date of issue for marriage in the state of Nevada and should be performed in any of the wedding chapels or the office of the Civil Marriage Commissioner. Usually minors who are 16 or 17 years of age are not allowed a marriage license but if the application is accompanied by the consent of the parents in writing in original, the license may be issued at the discretion of the court.
